They do mix well. When HyTran turns color from the normal yellowish color to white like milk, this means it has a significant water content. Just periodically check the fluid for the white color to tell if it is getting contaminated. It can tolerate quite a bit of water but this dilution will cause more wear. Most water comes into the trans from condensation. Tractors that spend their lives outside in the winter are especially prone to this. Good luck.
