I'm essentially done with the B except for the light rings and generator rebuild ("it was working when I last parked it"). I found a salvaged drawbar that has been reinforced, but the welds are very uniform and smooth. I only need to widen the swinging drawbar to clear the thickened reinforcing. The folks from the Independence Day parade organizing committee say this Farmall B will be the only tractor entry. What better way to show off a new project.

Are those yellow decals orginal or did you replace 'em? I'd like to get one for my 560's air filter.

PPG Acrylic Urethane #70019 and hardener. The best color retention of any commercially available paint I've seen. This # corresponds to IH50 for the letter series.

You should be proud. Are you gonna work her or just show her?

I'll probably end up working in the pecan orchard with it, but very light duty pulling a spray rig. My granddad owned a B for cotton and corn cultivation in the 40's, so I'll also attach the B -238 cultivators just for ol' times. Shows too, but wont stay a trailer queen long.

You did a super job! I'll bet you'll get a lot of attention in the parade.
