Update on the Ford Inst. pnl. in the 395

I tested the tach and it seems to be geared just like the Fords. Rotation is as expected and idle came in at 600 RPM which is where
idle is on my Ford diesels......so the panel should be accurate (enough) without a conversion table......yeah! The oil pressure
switch and the Ford analog temp sender are expected to arrive any day. I received the parts manual but the other two should be
here shortly.

Once I get a look at the 395's wiring diagram I can decipher the connector that goes to the OEM inst. pn. and hard wire the desired
signals to my new $100 Ford panel and be in business. I don't need all the fan-fare that was contained in the OEM panel anyway,
just the basics which should be a no-brainer to hook up. This is looking really good and I will have a nice new panel that I can see
and look nice (I hate old sun baked inst panels) to go along with the nice new paint job.
