Farmall A Zenith Carburetor

Hi folks,

I have a Zenith carburetor 52499 - 9752 that belongs to a 1944 Farmall A. The carburetor which is cast iron has a broken flange on one side. I thought I was going to be able to come up with a fix for it but now I think I would be better off finding a replacement. Does anyone know of any tractor salvage yards or carburetor shops that may have one I could purchase ?

Do what you like but mine has a broken flange that was welded back on by someone years ago. I am just sharing this as someone out there will possibly be interested in it even in its damaged state. Good luck, Dave

you mean the ear where the carb bolts to the manifold i ground a bolt so the head was where enough of the flange was still there been like that for yrs and it is still working fine

If by chance you cannot find the Classified, if you are in Modern View you need to click Classic View at the top, then it will show on the left. If you are using a phone by chance in Classic you have to click ..Options.. at the top for it to show on the left.

try looking on Steiner tractor parts they sell brand new carburetors

Brazing the ''ear'' back on is a simple matter.

If you can't or don't have anyone local that will do it for you I would gladly help you out.

Sorry for the delay DJ, was watching for an email.
The carb I have came off a Super A, and is a Carter 733S. Was oem on some of the Super A's. C113, C123 etc

It is complete, not rebuilt.
