Farmall Super M Countershaft Seal

Hi all,
I got the seal for the countershaft and the inner part of the seal is not tight on the countershaft nut. It is slightly loose. I assume this needs to be tight otherwise the transmission fluid will leak out? If so I'll need to order a different part number.

not good. it must have a nice snug fit to the OD of the nut. Grease it (the new correct one) when putting in the nut. Jim
 
Thanks for confirming what I thought. I'm going to try this one, that matches the IH part number and not trust O'Reilly's.
