I had to grind down a wrench to get to that nut on my BN'S if it's the
one I think it is. I bought a wrench from NAPA and ground the sides to
make it fit in there. I think I had to file it open a bit also, that is
make it fit a slightly bigger nut. The nut must be odd sized.

Dont turn the back nut. On the front of the bracket there is a hex that will turn the shaft out of the nut in
the back and you can slide the fan assembly up and out.
