Figured out my glow plug problem

Got the new switch installed, but I'm going to need to do some wire end repair. Here's what I found when I removed the old switch.

The switch pushes HARD and returns out slowly, like it is filled with molasses. The new button, while it's not super easy, is not all that hard either. My switch had an obvious issue.

that is very common with them switches. you need good clean connections with good heavy wire as they use and best to solder the ends on. you
need that switch for high amperage, as those are. any little common switch will not work.
