Braggin' About My H Puller

Local antique tractor pull today. My 1939 Farmall H weighed 3960 with me on it, so I pulled in the 4100 pound weight class (stock). I pulled a bit over 192 feet - second place! The winner was a beautifully painted 1937 Allis Chalmers. He beat me by two feet!
A friend told me to let some air out of the tires, they were at 17 pounds. My second pull (this time was in Division 2, some modifications allowed) was about 11 pounds of air pressure in the tires and I pulled 248 feet. Again, I came in second. Those two pulls are the best the ol' H has ever done! kelly

WOW, that is a strong H, i pull very little, couple, times a year, but our club allows radial tires, i got 1st, the last time i pulled. I weight in at 9120, a Super MTA, beat some heavy hitters, A G Moline, with the big engine, and two 99 Olivers, I beat the G. Moline by about by 50 feet,he was the closest,The other 3 guys got regular tires, they just sit on top and spin. The G beat me last year by 10 feet, so this year i added 550 more pounds!

This ones a 40 model.
I put it together 15 years ago and had loads of fun with it.
My grandson does the driving these days.
It gets in the 3500 class easily. Even with my fat a$$.
The tires are 13.6-36s which gear it down just enough to allow to up a gear or 2
