Have you guys ever seen a date code on a B Farmall, mine doesn't have any, anywhere, But i seen one yesterday, that had one on the torque tube, 6 20 K on the right, near the pedals. The only thing differant was the on/off switch was horizontal, where mine was in the same area, but verticle !

I'm thinking you have an early 1939 model. Or at least parts of one. Do you have J hooks to hold the hood down or Dzeus fasteners?
Dave

J hook's, and to make matters worse the seat uprights have been changed, because the prefix number is wrong, mine says FAA, it should be FAB !!!! But the other B i seem, just said B.

Is there a flat spot on the front of the belt pulley housing where you can mount a pulley guard? What size is the PTO shaft? Those are two more differences in a 1939. J hooks may mean it's a replacement hood.

I had a B that didn't have any casting codes on it anywhere. Dave BN was here visiting and we looked everywhere. Apparently motor was swapped at some point and the serial number on it was ground off too.
