In the pics, you can see the female ends of the remotes on my Farmall 350. I am to understand IH and JD had propriety remotes that I believe the IH variants were a larger diameter than a Pioneer remote? I may not have the proper lingo down when writing this post...
The remotes take what I gather is a pioneer make end as they snap in and fit like a glove. However, the casting holding the female ends are embossed with IH.
What do you make of these female remote ends coming off my 350? Are they pioneer, IH or something else? Just curious - thanks!
This 350 has the fast hitch and before the hay season gets away from me, I want to put a square baler on it - just for kicks and see if the tractor will run it without breaking in half - LOL!
Question is - will the latching mechanisms that hold the fast hitch drawbar in place - will it come unlatched with the harsh forward and backward surges of the square balers plunger stroke? The latches look to be in pretty good shape, but I thought I would ask.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
Bill
