Starting the restoration on the wifes 52
Super W6. It was known as a Non Runner at
purchase so we knew there were going to be
surprises here and there. The carb was not
expected to be one of them. Completely
seized at every component.

Oh well, a new carb will be nice and SHINY.

Should clean up just fine . Put a kit in it , good to go .

Boil it in lye water 3 or4 times until the water stays clear.

Does the engine turn? Might have bigger problem than that carb.

No. Exhaust pipe was rotted off and open to weather for untold number of years. Cylinders 3 and 4 are rusted by the look of the plugs. Glad sleeves and pistons are still available.

Your going to have to look at everything ,test everything , no getting around it ,from what Ive heard so far ,good project though ,tel us how your doing.
