Pulling another tractor into the shop. Been outside for a bit and the left rear wheel does not turn. The right one is fine. I dragged it out of it's parking space and skidded it about 30 feet to a place where I could look at it when I have time. Any tips on where to start with something like this? I am looking for my parts book to see what's in there. Likely culprit is water got in there somehow but what has rusted that keeps it from turning?

well the transmission cover comes off pretty easy, look down there first, after 20-30 years there will be a few surprise's.

Im about to acquire a BN thats been outside for some time.
All I know is the shifter is seized up. We havent tried to move it yet.
Its going to be a grandson project.

Still looking for my darned manuals for this tractor. I am sure I have a complete set. How hard is it to access the brakes on this tractor. Seems to me I replaced the brakes on a 2N maybe 15 years or so ago. Wasn't that hard to get to on that one.

Brakes on a b can be a little harder to access than 2n. We moved an a with stuck rh
brake. Did not pull anything apart. Brake pedal was sticky, so I took hammer and bar and drove the the actuating rod back. Luckily, the brake freed up and we loaded it. Might work for you, too. Good luck
