Just got a later model Farmall 560D. Wasn't looking for a new tractor but it showed up for trade on Facebook so I jumped. Turns out it used to belong to my hay supplier who has a ton of red tractors.
I'll be looking for a 3-point to mount since it has dual hydraulics to the rear, used to have one but it was irreparably damaged according to the previous owner. Can't wait to put it to use, a few simple fixes needed.

Looks like a nice tractor, someone has changed out the
rear cast wheels for hubs and stamped steel rims,
indication that it has done some tractor pulling, but
may have just been a cheaper option to replace some
rusty rims. Maybe you are aware of this, but there was
not a 3 point factory option for the 560. The Fast Hitch
was what they came with unless they only were
equipped with the had horseshoe drawbar like an M.
So an aftermarket 3 point is all you will be able to get.
Most of them mount by clamping on the squares of the
axle like the horseshoe drawbar did. I will include a link
to the CNHI online parts book for the 560. In the
Drawbar section, subsections 252 and 253 show the
Fast Hitch.

Not quite true: Bermuda Ken has stated: I.I.R.C.....IH made the change from Instrument Panel Grey painted dashes to black painted dashes in June of 1961.

My 63 Farmall 560 gas has a black dash
My 62 Farmall 560 diesel has a black dash*
My 62 Farmall 460 gas has a black dash*
My 62 Farmall 460 gas has a black dash
My 61 INTERNATIONAL has a gray dash because it is any early 61.*

The guy I got it from has done some pulls with it, I'm not sure if he did the wheel swap.
I know the 3 point wasn't standard, I had looked it up before I went to see it, and he said the one that was on it when he got it was bent too much to be workable. All the tools I would use take a 3- point connection, I just have a drawbar now.

As to the drain petcocks, the tractor left the factory with 1/8'' pipe plugs in those drain holes, someone installed the petcocks ''in the field''.

You can put plugs back in if the petcocks are leaking, or replace the petcocks from a hardware store, or auto parts store, or if you can't find them locally, McMaster.com has them.

Anybody got a good link to parts breakdown? My hay guy pointed out to me that the wide front "stabilizer" is missing and will put stress on the front beam mounting point (which has been welded before)
I'm not looking to make an original restoration for shows, just have it able to do work around here.

That makes sense. I don't know how often one has to open these that petcocks would be practical. The petcocks are leaking, makes more sense to have plugs.

I know of one company that still makes three point
hitches , but they sell other parts too. I cant post a link
here. I need an email address for you.

The cast center wheels on 460 & 560 were all for use with double bevel 38 inch rims. The fine print in the
parts book D282 posted the drawing of the 34 inch steel disk (dual) wheel probably would describe it as a
15x34 wheel, it was the only way to get 16.9x34 or 18.4x34's on a 460 or 560, and used on 656, 666, 686 and
H86's. I'm pretty sure a supplier change took place between the 560 production and the 686/H86 production I
was involved with, that wheel was the ONLY thing Motor Wheel in Mendota, I'll supplied Farmall. The rim
unfortunately had two valve stem holes, I borrowed a rubber valve stem hole plug from Electric Wheel that
was designed to be used WITH an inner tube, but those 34 tires, 16.9x34 which we didn't use, and 18.4x34's
were both deemed by Engineering as having to be tubeless, probably 25 to 35% of the tires on those wheels
leaked flat over night. I tried getting them changed to tube type, or use a better plug made from brass that
sealed with rubber washers, a standard catalog item from Schrader. Engineering and assembly would not change.
Thank goodness the 686 & H86 went out of production and this wheel stopped being used.
