fuel shut off for '40 H

1940 H Farmall. There was a persistent fuel drip off the bottom of the sediment bowl. Tightening the nut under the bowl didn't help. Trying to tighten the fuel line fitting showed that the threads had stripped.

Has anyone used the YT shut off / sediment bowl assembly on an early H ? The description makes it look like the outlet thread is 1/4 NPT. The fitting on the end of my fuel line looks like straight thread and finer than pipe ( 1/2-20 ?). Does it fit without modifying the fuel line ?

Thanks
Greg

I may have one on my parts 1940 H that could be fixed and used. I say fixed because it hasn't seen gas in years so o-ring/gasket would maybe need replaced
