184 Cub running lean

A few days ago I posted about my 184 Cub running lean and had tried finding a leak as part of trouble shooting it without much luck. Tonight playing with it some more it looks like I have found a leak in the carb, opposite the bowl end. My question is can I fix that somehow or do I need to buy a new one. I don't have a problem buying a new one as ebay has a number of them for under $100. I've bought a cheap carb off ebay for my 47 Cub and has worked OK. It would be nice to prove I have really found the problem before spending any money. If I can seal the one I have I probably won't buy a new one at least for now. Its a Zenith carb.

I believe the 184s all used the Zenith Carburetor.
The IH carburetor with the externally accessible main jet has two jet sizes, 0.030 and 0.035. Don't recall from the top of my head the application of the jet size.
