I got mine to work, it is sort of finicky, but it does raise my little improvised planter. I know other than the cylinder nothing is original, but it shows the principal. I'll take it to our show this fall.

put some oil in the cycl the pistons leather mite be dry. The gasses from the engine will keep it lubed when it has been use normally but if the piston has not been in use that leather will be dry and make it move slow and jerky. If you have any problems contac me as i have used those systems since 1948 but now my parts supply is getting very low i do make new leathers for the piston

What show and when? I went to the show at the rodeo grounds in Apache Junction last winter, it was good. We hope to be back down there by mid Nov.

The Arizona Flywheelers 38th Annual show will be Oct 28 & 29, 2022. It is held in Cottonwood AZ. The Apache Junction is a good show and I had my 12 HP Stover there.

I have put oil in the cylinder, and it makes it work better. I made my own leather and I think that it works as it should. In the neutral position you can't push the plunger down, so I assume that I don't have leakage by the leather. I have tried to post pictures of my set up but for some reason they won't come up when I post. Mentioned earlier in the first post nothing other than the cylinder is original.

the check valve assy by the filter is stopping you from pushing the piston down unless your leather is too tight because if it fits too tight it will not move good

They don't show up on my computer over 5 and they should be alright but I need to try something else.
