cub headlight switch

i converted my 52 cub to 12 volt and i heard that i will have to buy a new headlight switch because the 6volt switch will be a problem, there is a coil on the switch i have , it looks like it is meant to reduce the 6volt down??. also i havent taken the original headlights apart to look at the bases yet will 12volt bulbs go into the bases of the original 6volt lighta or do i have to buy new lightsl.??

the sw will be just fine and you can get 12v bulbs to fit just like the 6v did

Gene is correct. LED bulbs can also be purchased that actually make light worth using. Jim
