Well, Red wanted to hear it bark, and if he were a thousand miles east, he could have heard it today. I got my new plugs and wires in the mail, and installed them, added some gas, and hitched a chain to the H. My geezer buddy Stanley was here, so he drove the H and I hopped on the F20N. I rigged a wire from the choke, and when he took off, I put it in third gear and let out the clutch, and a big bark and then a beautiful roar. It runs pretty good. I dont like to crank a machine I have not yet heard run, so we towed it. After I shut it down, I set the mag advance just off shutdown, and gave the crank a pull, and it started the first shot. I still have a few details to finish, but it runs, and I drove it! Another antique Farmall saved from the scrap heap.

A great looking machine!!!!! !! I spent a lot of time on a 39 I believe, cultivating, plowing, etc. Had the same cast rear wheels etc. Told Dad not to git rid of it. But---one day I went back to the farm--GONE!!!!! !!! Had sold it to the scrape metal dealer. Same with a 50 GMC pick-up,I called it a 5 window(had the curved windows at back of cab) The pickup survived, someone got ahold of it, do not know about the F20. Sure wish I had both of them--
