Farmall Fast Hitch Spacers

Hello, I have 2 point implements that will mount to my Farmall 200 fast hitch that has the small socket that accepts implements with the small prong. I am looking at purchasing a larger Farmall tractor (240 or 340) with the fast hitch that has larger sockets. I have read I can use my small prong implements on the larger fast hitch socket but need spacers. Can anybody provide me information on these spacers? Do they work well? Any pictures of them on a tractor? Where can they be purchased. Thank you for any help you can provide. ginojoseph

They are prong width and 1/2 inch in thickness. They extend the full length under the thin prongs. They
could be pinned in place with roll pins front and back, or bolted into the larger sockets from the bottom
allowing more flexible use of the implement on both tractor socket sizes. Jim

.I have a pair of shims like on the bottom of center picture. The holes were full of broken roll pins that I punched out.
I never used them so not sure how they work. the white paper is a tracing of a small point and the half inch under makes a
large point.

Make your own. 1/2 thick;1 wide,from
the point to the stop long.Any mild
steel will work.

You can just tack weld them on too.

Right or wrong the ones we had for our 350 did not
fasten to the fast hitch pockets or implement. They
were just slid in prior to hooking to the implement. The
end that faced the back was shaped like the top of a
type written capital ..I.. if that makes any sense. Had
an ear on each side that protruded about 3/16 in. out
to each side about a 1/4 in. front to back. The nub on
the bottom of the implement tug prongs held them in
place. You just did not want to unlatch the implement
and drive off or you would be tracing your tracks back
to find where they vibrated out.

oddly enough, I had to cut a strip off the bottom of a set of large prongs on an IH back blade. I can check to see if I still have the strips if you want
