Super C guests

I was in the process of adjusting the valves and opened the clutch hole cover. Much to my surprise there was a heap of what must be a mouse or squirrel nest with paper, insulation material, acorns, etc. Had to be a half grocery bag full. No wonder the clutch was a little funky at times. How the heck could anything have gotten in there with the hole cover on? Unless the PO added the hole cover later.

I picked up a Super C a couple of years ago that sat many years and the whole mid section of the tractor was packed with bees nests and the clutch was jammed with mice nests. They find ways to get in.

Critters love that area for some reason ,nice and Cousy ! Done that clean out on my Cs .
They also like the control box. That the one is very frustrating cause the tractor will start and you will be a half mile away and it will stall for
no reason . Thats when the chewed through wires failure occurs , happens .
Suggest you look in control box now before above happens to ya.
Put some moth balls in there might help .
