Maxxforce engines

I didn't think so, but wasn't sure. Have been reading a bit about them as I encountered some in school busses I help service. Have heard a bucket load of complaints about them.

We have them in two of our dump trucks and most of our problems are the regen system and other electrical problems and no power, but that's due to all the emissions junk on it

Your bucket you are referring to must be one of those buckets on a loader/excavator from mining and such. Those engines overflowed 5 gallon buckets before they left the dealer. My employer (state dept) has around 30 of them, when they leave the dealer after a problem, $20-30K usually gets the bill. Others up to $60K. One spent 9 months of the first year we had it in the shop. Don't know if one made it out of the shop lately or not as the dealer didn't know what to do anymore.

I had several Max 9 engines. STAY AWAY! Boss was buddies with salesman. We have Max 13 with little problems. Funny how the class action lawsuit settlements did not include the 9s that I know of. I heard the Military had a bunch but was exempt from the emmisions as were some of the emergency response equip. I have been wrong before.
