350 high utility wheel bearings

The axle bearings are in the axle housing The inside one is between the bull gear and the extension of the housing, sandwiched by #2 Support. The outer axle bearing is as shown out on the end of the axle behind the Cap Part 11. It really needs to come apart with the top off, and the Housing #4 removed. Jim

I really can't give you a good answer. But you really should buy a 40 dollar I&T service manual from this site,or your favorite farm store.Dont turn a wrench without reading first.

Yes you can remove the bolt and washer from inside end of axle through the PTO hole. Then easier to service inner bearing after axle and axle housing is removed. High utility is made like a Farmall with no outer flange on axle. Outer axle bearing comes out with axle then removed from axle. Inner bearing is retained in axle housing with 2 plates and 4 bolts. If axle is tight in bull gear splines a pusher bolt with sleeve can be placed between axles to push out. Or top can be removed from rear housing and axle housing left on tractor. Then remove axle and bull gear out and replace bearings. 4 bolt cap on end of axle lets axle be removed after inner bolt and washer is removed.
