Hi Gentlemen,
I have finally solved the electrical problem on my 1948 Farmall C Tractor. 1st the new alternator was too high 100 AMPS. current jumping through the old wiring. Rewired with proper wiring and tractor runs nice, but have 2 problems the AMP. meter doesn't work and the indicator light doesn't work. Checked the voltage at the alternator, and the battery with engine running 13.4 volts. Thank you all for you positive comments, they were very helpful and I would have never tackled the project without them.
