Regular spitting gas out of carb

I was finally able to get my regular to run today by pull starting it, but it would only run for about 30 seconds. I noticed gas spitting out of the top of the carb around the adjustment screw. When searching, I think I read that my intake manifold could be cracked or maybe a bad gasket? Is this correct? I also had a few loud backfires when I was trying to get it started. I just put a new brass float and a new center stem in the carb.

Here are a couple of videos of when I was able to get it to run
