farmall m pre cleaner

hey hello to all ,

i have a farmall m that had a dome pre cleaner on it until the other day when it accidentally came off and i ran it over and i had chains on it well yes it is toast . Bought a new donaldson pre cleaner and would like to know how far down should it go ?

Well measure the pre cleaner on the inside to see that clamp has something to bite into the stand pipe, then measure the stand pipe and put a small mark on it, match it up !
