I'm looking at a 560 that is for sale near here. It has a gas engine, wide front, loader, bad sheet metal, 50% rubber, and 4800 hrs. I don't know what year it is. Located in SE Minnesota. Can anyone tell me what it might be worth? Is this the 263 or the 291 engine?

I bought a 1962 gas 560, WF, No 3 pt., Hydraulic loader with power bucket, good tires for $3000 last fall. TA works good, sheetmetal is fair. I hauled it down from South Central Minnesota (near Wadena) to Iowa.

It's hard to say without seeing the tractor or the loader. You did'nt say if it has fast hitch or not. Many factors come into play. In a situation like that I often look at the value of the parts to try to determine the value of the whole. I do know this, if straight sheetmetal is important to you, almost any price is too high. Finding and replacing sheetmetal can get very costly and frustrating.

I've seen them range from $1750 to $3500. I live in Monticello, MN. 560 are a popular tractor for bailing hay, etc. so many farmers are still wanting a decent price for them regardless of the looks (sheet metal, etc.).
