Ok I give up!! I have spent about 30 minutes on the IH site and cannot find the inner bearing for the rear axle.

First refresh my memory, if you remove the IPTO from a Farmall 300, can you see the rear axle bearings without taking the bull gear off?

Second I believe the bearing number is an ST 213 or ST 218. Where has anyone found the best bearing for this application? I know many bearings have less rollers since they are made overseas.

Inner bearing is ST 218 or St 218A. The A would be increased capacity one, same size.

Outer bearing depends on axle size. St 328A 65mm inside dia or St310A 70mm inside dia.

You can get a pretty good look (not great for small defects) at the inside bearing with pto unit removed.

Thanks!! The last one I did was back in 2014 and I thought I took the PTO out and found the right one bad. It now has an outer seal leak and the PTO keeps blowing oil out of it even when it is not running. So I have to pull the PTO to replace the inner seal and then take a look at the left wheel bearing.
