Eddie,

First get the crankshaft in the top dead center position for the #1 cylinder(towards the front). then it's just a matter of putting on the timing gears and matching up the small marks on the face of the gears. If I remember correctly the gears can only go onto their respective shafts one way. So put the crankshaft gear on first the just simply turn the camshaft by hand until the marks line up. Now you didn't say if you had you motor all torn down or why the timing might be off. You get small adjustments as far as the spark goes by the magneto coupler and moving the screws a hole or two at a time. Timing the magneto is a diferent story all together, post back and tells us a little me about your project and there are many people here with a lot more experience then I to answer questions. I have found them to be invaluable.
