Front Blade parts similar?

I don't have a parts book handy, would a front push blade be the same part from a Cub and a C tractor? Just the blade and support frame, not all the linkage.

Thanks

No. The 'C' blade (2C-72) should be 72 inches wide while the Cub blade (Cub-54) would be 54 inches and the one for the Farmall 100, A, Super A tractors (1A-60)
was 60 inches. The relief spring pressure was different for all three: 2,000 pounds, 2,500 pounds, and 4,000 pounds, as was the number of springs (one for the
Cub and 'A' blades and two for the 'C' blades, as well as the weight of the blade itself, 243 pounds, 318 pounds, and 501 pounds. This information is per IH
literature. Hope this helps.

You could, I suppose, but the blade only being 54" wide you'd have a hard time getting the tractor narrow enough to not be running through unplowed snow. Assuming you've found a Cub blade that you want to use on your C.

Ya not wide enough. Would've been nice if the blades were all the same size! 30min drive away.
