Farmall A help?

Looking for some help with finding the correct rear cultivators for a Farmall A. I am not too familiar with red tractor's as mostly I visit a different fourm!! Anyway we have my wife's grandfather's tractor, it is an early A I do not remember the year off hand I had looked it up awhile back. The plan is to restore it at some point. The tractor had a full set of cultivators Mid mount and rear. I am looking to find another set of rear cultivators for parts and pieces need to restore the original set. My question is will a set from a cub work? I seem to run across those more often then a set for the A. They look similar. Any advice or help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I believe it has a mechanical lift with a vacuum assist unit. It has a glass type cylinder on the left front on the tractor.

The tool bars on the Cub are thicker than the one used on the A. the clamps holding the shanks to the tool bar will be hard to find. Do you have the rockshaft and is it a hand lift or exhaust lift. Call me i do have parts except for the clamps. Three types of the rear rockshaft were used. 319-430-3907 Do you know which model the cultivator is because three models were used not counting the veggie model which would do 6 15 inch rows. The three models were the A-134 A-136 A-138 Veggie model was A-435

It has the exhaust lift on it. I did not know that many different verisions were available. I do not know which model cultivators it is, I do know it was only a 2 row setup. I can get some pictures this weekend of the tractor its currently in my in-laws garage (not enough room to keep everything under one roof).

If you mean the clamps for the cultivators, I have no issues with the ones from agrisupply on my 140. I think the A uses the same ones. They even have some with square nuts.

No they are not the same the tool bars are different sizes the ones for the 140 will not work on the A FARMALL just try them and you will see i have both cults
