seal protector

Does anyone know where to get a seal protector for a mechanical ta? This is the one that you slip over the threads of the planetary unit to install into housing it is a OTC ED-3253, I made one from some exhaust pipe and a expander to get it to fit, I would like to have the correct one. My goggle searches don't come up with anything. Thanks Bob

Well to get any of the special tools you would have to get a dealer to get them as they are captive items or get lucky and buy out and old closing dealer and hope it was still in the tool kit . That is how i got all my special tools i bought out better then 95% of all the shop tools at a closing dealer at there auction . I tried to buy the stuff a year after they closed for a LOT more then i gave at the sale . Then it took two full one ton truck loads stacked to over the top of the cab to haul it all out . Auctioneer said he was selling the WHOLE wall for one money it was red peg board with white out lines and tool numbers of all the special service tools , Me being a smart arrsi sadi your selling the WHILE WALL , Block too with the windows and door ???? and i get no you can't have the block door or windows but ya can have the peg board and hooks if you end up with everything for one money . I then went to another closing dealers sale and was lucky to get some items that were missing . But that sale required 6 and 1/2 hour drive one way not just a walk down the street like the first one.
