I too have found a funnel on those is an exercise in futility.I just carefully use a one gallon oil jug and pour it in.If I'm careful and take my time and not try to hurry,I dont spill a drop.

i pour into a 1 gallon jug first and it works ok. also have a one gallon plastic shell container with the built in spout i also use.

I still have one of those good oil can piercing pouring spouts, has the rubber seal to contain the oil in the spout where it enters the can.

Now, where do I find round steel top&bottom quart cans? Years ago Dad used to buy cases of quart cans, cases of 4 quart cans and cases of 5 quart cans, He used two 4 quart cans in the M's & SM's, a 5 quart can and a quart in H's.

I have to change the oil & filter in the Super H before it snows. I'll release the right side hood latches, prop the hood up a bit, and even with the loader on I can pour oil from the gallon Rotella jugs in the oil fill without spilling a drop.

i use the galvanized oil fillers with spout. i have a one and two quart , the work good on the m and h. here is a link to what they look like

My Dad always used a 2qt container that had a flexible metal pour tube. We had a 300u and 340u that it was perfect for. He just laid a rag over the top of the container when it sat on the shelf. Mark.

I have a couple cases of them sitting in the barn that belonged to my dad. If I remember they are Skelly brand. Still full of oil.

I put the funnel over top the bolt, the cover stud bolt, and that hold the the funnel in place, and seldom spill unless i pour to fast!!

I use a one quart bottle with its own funnel. Works very well for Farmall M and Farmall H. Farmall M with AH-84 Angle and Tilting Blade makes it an awful job without a pump out of a drum.

On thwe poke here link if you go to the bottom right I like the black one with the thumb lever to let oil out and stop flow with. Can get the spout where you want it then let the flow go.
