Farmall M carburetor question

Hey Everyone
I bought a Farmall M with a Farmall 400/450 carburetor on it. I gave $400 for the tractor so didn't hear it run. Will this carburetor work on this tractor without any issues? Thanks so much

Work just fine, provided it's in good working order. Need to make the M choke rod go to the other side to operate from seat though. Wouldn't modify choke rod until you make sure carburetor is okay.

My story....I've had my Grandad's M since the early 80's. Never had a problem with the carb. Out of curiosity a year or so ago, I
checked out the p/n on the carb. It's off a 350!

Wow! Thats pretty cool. It sounds like
these old tractor parts are kinda universal. At least on the carburetor side. Thank you for the reply.
