I obtained 2 farmall 6 cyl engines in pieces from a late family member and was wondering if I should sell them as a group or part out the individual parts. It appears almost everything is there except some of the bolts. Heads are intact and he kept these as he had combines and other equipment that he would use these parts for replacement. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Best to sell each engine togeter. You will sell a few parts soon, some later, then in 5 yearsthe rest you will haul what's left to the scrapper.

Steve is right. If you sell the pistons and rod, then the cam, then the distributor, then the crank, then ETC, you will make no money because of the time investment in each sale. Separate the two into different boxes, and sell one or both for one money. Jim

Do you happen to know for sure what you have? Where are you located?

Just do not let it split your personality. Susan will choose one or the other. Then where will you be! Jim
