Made some bracing for the front and rear half. The welder at work cut the two vertical pieces exactly an inch too short on the rear brace. Will fix tomorrow. Thank gosh for prototypes. :-)

Bolted it all together. It seems real sturdy. I'll also use back up bracing just in case of collapse. :-)

Take care,
Tyman

I like the support! Did you build that? I need to split my C to repair a leak at the front of the transmission and need something similar.

Yep. I made the supports at work. Well...I designed it and helped cut the 1" tubing and another feller welded it. It's strong and sturdy.

Very nice! I imagine you'll get a few requests from these guys to borrow it!

I'd like to hear about that spin on filter too when you get a chance. Is that a retrofit kit?

Don't know much about the spin filter adapter. It was on there when I bought the tractor. You may be able to get a kit at an IH dealer.

Really like the bracing, looks like a setup to handle the job and make separation alot easier, when you are all done and have a minute, please tell me about your spin on oil filter, as opposed to the canister that I am still using.
Thanx RON/PA
