806 wont run right (see video)

I have a 806 gasser that has been sitting for a year. Pulled tank and cleaned/rinsed, new fuel bowl and carb cleaned. I have been working on this on and off for a week. It seems to run like in the video most of the time. Today I put in new plugs, wires, cap and rotor and did not see much of a change. Last night I pulled the carb off for the 5th time, cleaned, new float and float adjust, new needle and seat, not much of a change. The video is at idle, if you give it any throttle it will die. I cannot see the sediment bowl in the tank because of the baffle, but seem to have good fuel to the carb. Not much to adjust on the carb, unsure what else to do. Replaced ignition componemts except coil and points. Do I have a fuel problem? or ignition problem? Thanks

guess you have to tell us .kinda makes no sense to pull a carb off 5 times when if disassembled and soaked in gunk and passages blown out with air its a one time thing. why would you pull a carb off to replace a float just to replace it. they are either good or no good. was it heavy and did you shake it to see if it had gas in it? from what i can tell you need to clean the carb properly as soak it overnight. you dont need all new parts to make an engine run.

Those C301s are cold blooded creatures. Is the heat valve in the manifold still operative? How long do you let it warm up before you do anything with it? Mine will take a good 10 minutes at half throttle or better before it stops sputtering when I take off. Once it's warm, no worries.

Are you getting sediment in the bowl and filter? Disconnect the fuel line at the carb and let it flow into a bucket or gas can till full. You should have full flow. If not probably sediment in the bottom of the tank. A couple fixes include a copper tube in the line so it sticks up above the bottom. I rolled up a few inches of screen and stuck in the tube so it extends above the bottom. I acidized my tank yearly for a while and the rust comes back cause you can't clean behind the baffle and then the metal has to be sealed to stop the rust. Best bet is to take the tank to a radiator shop and get it cleaned and coated on the inside.

If you have a full and continuous gas flow then you have a carb issue. There are a number of small passages in the carb body and jets that have to be chased with a bread wrapper wire.

Ok, that video works as well as the other one. Could stand to be a bit longer, but I get the idea. Don't see a spring on your heat valve on the side of the manifold so it's probably stuck open. Another thing that comes to mind are plugs. They could be crudded up. Points could be frazzled, too. How are the plug wires? I'd check over those things, just in case, before I tore that carb apart again.

very poor video , too short and cant see what exhaust is doing. make it at least 30 seconds or a minute not 10 sec.
