Farmall questions

I was asked to work on the brakes on a Farmall H for a friend. He wants to sell it but wants it safe for the new owner. It would be hard to load without good brakes is his reasoning. I have never been around Farmall tractors so I started to gather the info I need. This H has a wide front, and a Dual loader. The serial number is FBH 343266 X 1. What does the FBH and X1 mean?
The brake job seams pretty simple, just has the loader and three point brackets in the way, some of which will have to be moved.

Is it well known that the brakes are not working? I would try them first to verify if some asked me to check those brakes. They may just need an adjustment.

Produced in the fall of 1950 (approximately) the tractor will have band brakes. If they are worn, but dry, an adjustment might fix
it. If they are OK but oil soaked, the pinion seal must be replaced. that requires removing the brake "drum". This site sells the
bands.
