I am normally on the Ford N series forum, but I have recently acquired a Farmall Super H that my Dad has owned for many years. He had some rebuild work done on it and repainting in 2016. My question is -- it
has the live hydraulics box on it (which I think the 300 had) and the battery under the seat, would this have been how it came from the factory or would it have been changed post factory? My Dad always called
it the 53 1/2 because of this 'other than' characteristics.
I do need to find some detailed info on these hydraulics. Hoses, connections and levers all over this thing, and I'm curious how it really was meant to work. He currently only has one single acting cylinder
on it, so not like he needs a bunch of hydraulics to run, just fun to know and explain what it could have done in the day.
Thanks for your help.
