BN 25 no spark past mag

Trying to help out a neighbour, his BN has spark at the mag but trying new and used rotor and cap nothing reaches the plugs. Any suggestions would be a big help,

Have you timed the rotor shaft to the mag using the procedure outlined in the Blue Ribbon Magneto Service Manual GSS-5035?

What work has been done recently and when was it running last?

Is the cap on correctly and the springs that hold it on snapped down?
Their is a notch in the magneto to align the cap.

Also it is mentioned it "has spark at the mag" curious as to how that is being checked might help with some ideas to know.

Not trying to argue or anything just the more information the better ideas you will get!
