Slogging along with the steering gear assembly and wire brushing of the rims and wheels, bolt heads, fan, and miscellaneous parts. One of the most useful tools I need to buy next is a bearing press . The hold ups have been the problem of separating the right brake pedal from the shaft, finding a salvaged starting switch that mounts to the starter, and starter push rod with gas tank support bracket. Since the B had no electrics, I've needed quite a few items, including a battery box. A loomed wiring harness sounds great, and the vinyl decals are terrific, but more $ ($140!).

Hey RR, this is the 41 B that my son and I picked up for $250 this fall. I have had to do a lot of work on the front bolster and steering. It has not run in over 12 years but is free. Your photo inspires me to get to work on it. I am working on a Super C right now and it is eating all my cash. Looks great, keep up the good work and keep us updated

Yep, I've got a new (oiless) fan assembly that was going on the SC until I decided to restore the B first. Should the gen and reg be matched by amperage? Both are 6v.

Red Raider: Hey, I like it. The first tractor I started driving was a near new 1941 B. I can remember that first test drive like it was last week rather than a long long time ago.. Do it up good. Enjoy it. Thanks. R

At least I haven't spilled over a 5 gallon drum of old oil and grease/water sludge. I was 'cleaning up' with a leaf blower a while back and blew out about a cup of the stuff by mistake, shoulda covered it with the lid. Leaf blowers are great.
