Would anyone know if a gear shifter out of 560 will fit a supper mta? A friend has a shifter that been welded on and all messed up. I have low hour 560 that i am gonna scrap out and just wondered if it could be interchanged to save time of redoing one in mta? I know 560 shifter is curved on top but that would not hurt anything

If the it ever happens again, you have a wore out shifter, all it take's is on small to medium bead of weld with the wire welder on the one side of the tang, grind off any imperfection, and it will work,They get a little narrow! I would guess the 560 one will work also!!!! With a new rebuild shifter pin kit. it would feel like new !

Thats what was hoping 560 shifter would fit. Pin in 560 tight. was just gonna give it to neighbor for free. 560 didnt have 2000 hours on it

No, to long from pin hole to forks, bent different and longer above pin hole than a SMTA. 560 has a shift lever tower that bolts to top cover and the SMTA tower is made into the transmission cover.

crap, was wondering about pin hole. I knew diferant bends, which would be improvement. Oh well tried to be nice wonthurt junkman wont care
