Hi all,
I've found a good deal near me on a 660 diesel in good shape. I don't have any real use for it and can't justify it at my farm. My father has a farm an hour and
a half away, however, where we could use something of that size for round baling. Most of that farm is rented out, we just do a couple of fields of hay/grain
for fun with mostly antique equipment.
I know a 460 isn't an ideal baling tractor, especially as this one doesn't have power steering, but is there any reason it wouldn't work for 100 or so rounds of
second cut each year? I know the drivetrain didn't have the best reputation, but I've always loved these old IH's and it would compliment the W-series tractors
we have already.
