had a tool shed blow down in the storm the other day. looks like my 42 m made it thru with minor damage. baler, doesnt look so good

You might have to clean up the threads on the manifold, but it looks pretty good. The baler might survive if the knotter was spared, it might survive, though some pounding might be needed. Jim

Traqctor looks like it will live. The baler not so much. Ih bales would not tie if the hay was damp anyway. I worked with a guy had one if the hay was the least bit tough it would not tie. Could look at it 2 ways would not burn a barn down like that or pain in the not being able to tie for a small green bunch in a bale once a day. For anybody that thinks they get every green bunch dry must live in a desert or very dry climate. We regularly have a green bunch to deal with now and then. Just how hay is if you want it up with out rain.

Headlights look like they are pointed down. Any damage in that area? Also air filter cap looks like its pushed down too.

air cleaner intake tubeis flattened, muffler snapped off. i stuck the air cleaner cap over the exhaust hole in case it rains. taking the backhoe and skidder over saturday to see if i can get some stuff clear. heres my new roof, 3 weeks old

yup, roof is maybe 4 weeks old. was going to re side the building and then add insurance. so, i get to eat this one. here is a pic with the new roof

Sorry about your losses!

The M looks like it will be a relatively easy fix.

The 14T baler is one of the most robust balers ever made. I see some bent sheet metal which can be straightened. I've got my doubts that it is destroyed. Way back, I had 2 14Ts and found them to be very tough, thicker gauge metal than later models. However, I did gladly move up to newer models because they could bale faster and more reliably. But if that baler worked satisfactorily for you, gently pull the broken building away from it and you'll probably find it can be a working machine again. I realize that the knotter is not protected by any metal above it, but I doubt that any wood member falling on top of it could do major damage. There are still 14Ts lurking in tree lines just waiting to offer up parts if anything needs replacement. Yes, I have a 14T in my tree line just waiting to be a parts donor.
