Hi All,
Figured I would put this out there to provide some context for everyone.
Chiefly, yes, as I am sure folks have gathered, I tend to over-analyze, dive-deep and soak up info - learning everything I can on a subject.
I do it, well, because that's me, and it is how I am wired. It gets my brain working, figuring out the details, which then helps me to work out the system and resolve whatever I am working on.
It truly is done out of a desire to learn, to expand my understanding and knowledge and allow my brain to put together the system so I can see how everything interplays.
For me, when I can see how the mechanics work, how the science applies, how the "thing" ticks, sort of speak, then I can do anything with the system I desire (including fixing it, developing new systems or inventing new technologies).
I know it has brought the ire of some, and to that end, I want those folks to understand - I am not trying to be disagreable or difficult. It is quite the opposite. I am trying to glean their knowledge and understanding to further educate myself. Not just in "do this then that" methodology - you can train anyone to turn a wrench and send them on there way - but in the "it works because" of this and that methodology - which is how I learn.
Done it my whole life, has lead to my successes and certainly frustration for others - to which I say, I will work on being a better communicator on this board.
I am sure folks will have lots of opinions on this post, prolly mostly negative - and that's okay.
I just figured I would let everyone know a little more about me to help future discussions.
Lastly, please know, I am really excited to start this new adventure of farming - cannot tell you how much I have already learned from those that have provided their input (thank you all) and how excited I am to continue learning as I try this path.
Best,
CnB
