656 Hydro rolls away

I just replaced the two 1/4" lines from the spool valve in the dash to the transmission housing. They had rubbed together and a pin hole formed in one and I eventually lost all forward drive. I made new lines and replaced them both and now it seems to drive fine. I went up the steepest bank I dare climb and it didn't hesitate or falter at all. However, now when i place the forward/reverse lever in the neutral cross slot, the tractor rolls freely even on a slight incline. It never did this before. If i move the lever left or right slightly it will stop. But if its centered in the slot it rolls freely. The range transmission [b:b7e7608e50]is[/b:b7e7608e50] in low range.
In the process I did remove the fiberglass shroud that f/r lever goes through. What did I screw up to cause it to do this now?

When my 1026 did that,it was a simple adjust of the linkage at the handle. lengthen or shortened the
little clevis as needed.
