Hi everyone, I ran my 1967 IH 424 out of gas. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but after adding a few gallons it will not start.
I could tell something was wrong as soon as I turned on the ignition. Usually you hear the fuel pump working before I hit the starter. It didn't make a sound. It cranked fine, I checked what connections you can get to by hand.
Is there a way to service that fuel pump? I see that the bottom has a nut and twist off dogs.
This is the C-146 four cylinder gas engine.
Thanks for any suggestions.
