Timing Gears Torque Specs ft/lbs

as on what unit? experienced mechanics dont put a torque wrench on those. its feel thing.

The reply by Rustred is not necessarily the protocol of all good mechanics. Even though you may have recently
posted about some particular make or model you are working on I have probably viewed 20 - 40 posts since
then and I can’t remember yours. I may as well reply with a statement that is just as confusing, a Hoover
vacuum does not utilize any of those systems.

Ok, checked your recent posts, it appears like you are likely asking about a Farmall MD. I offered to email you a copy of a service manual if you would send me an email, my email should be open in Classic.

Torque of the crank nut is what ever my C P 745 will do on five hits of the hammer , same with the cam nut and a quick ZAP on the injection pump nut since it has a bad habbit of twisting off grade 8 5/8th bolts with ease and can easily remove main bearing bolt out of and 855 cummins and make head bolt removal look like they were never tightened down .

there u go! the vet says the same thing as i was referring to. so why is this not proto call? a person reply's to these questions with an answer that is sure within reason compared to the post. not one bit of info as to whether the engine is on an engine stand or in a tractor or what it is. take a big story to give all procedures to do if its still in the tractor and want to use a torque wrench. plus on the assembly line it would be impact torqued also.
