brake duum movement side to side on a m

I was changing the clutch pedal shaft seal on my m when i decided to check the band brakes and seal. i noticed that the brake drum moves in and out .070 thousands. is that normal? this is a early 1939 m so according to the part manual their is two bearings on that shaft (the left side). any help?

Only one bearing on the bull pinion and brake shaft. Other one supports the differential. In board end of shaft slides in the differential spider gear and bull pinion bearing can move inside the housing it's in. In and out of shaft the described distance is nothing to worry about unless something else is noticed.
