What do these cylinder heads fit??

I am trying to identify 2 cylinder heads i bought and cant find a part number on either one. They LOOK like the heads off a smaller offset letter series but Im not 100 percent sure. I am taking them to the shop to be rebuilt and would like to know what to tell the shop for parts purposes and also I need to know what they are supposed to fit so I will not put them on the wrong model tractor. They visually look the same but they are different. One has the older circle IHC logo about 1/4 way in and the other has an IH logo right in the center. The one with the IH logo has a 99E code on the edge of the manifold flange set with flat head screws. Maybe that is a cast code. It also looks like one head is about 2 credit card thicknesses taller than the other.

The one with recessed areas around the ports is off of a newer 100 series tractor. You can see that the ports are larger. That's
all I know about them. Casting numbers from each head will help with identity.

If that 99E is a casting code that would be September of 1959. Its on the head on the left in the other pictures.

I also want to mention that the coolant intake is different on both heads.

(quoted from post at 01:07:57 07/01/20) Like Rusty said, the part number is cast in the area where the valve springs are.
ok. Ill have to take a grinder with a wire wheel and see what I can find. I called myself looking all over that area even with the grease on and didnt see anything cast into the head but will look again.

He must really be up for a challenge like those who post on here looking for a tractor with a certain serial
number, but to a greater extreme. He starts with the engine cylinder head and eventually finds the right parts to
build an entire tractor around it. And he is not going to settle for one, he is going for two!

No I bought these in a lot of parts from a tractor repair shop and trying to identify them. We Buy and restore old tractors and usually have 5-6 cylinder heads rebuild at a time. Im trying to get that many together for the c-113 and c-123 in engines and the as trying to see if these fit those or what they fit. Whatever they Im sure I have a tractor I could use them on or either sell them. We have about 150 tractors (mostly IH ) with around 60 awaiting restoration and my grandfather is still buying when he runs across them. Im going to take a wire wheel to the heads to investigate further even though I havent seen a trace of a number cast into it like most others I have seen.
