Simple job made difficult by screwed up parts. Ordered a replacement manifold for my H. When it showed up I realized I needed all six of the small thick washers for the studs, so I ordered those and cleaned everything up and waited. Parts show up and I get started but the hole in the washers is too small, OK, ream them out to fit (hour wasted). Put the manifold on to find that the relief in 2 of the runners was not nearly enough. In fact the high points on the nuts actually touch the manifold when put on. How could they do this? Am I the first one to buy this thing? Everything else about it looks perfect but how could you end up with such a crappy flaw in the design? I'm not sure I got those 2 tight enough with an open end (couldn't get the wrench all the way on the nut). Last resort would be to pull it back off and use a die grinder on it (don't want to do that). Maybe I'll try to make or modify a wrench to better fit the nuts. Just venting. Can't be the only one this has happened to.
